Aliens Quote: “Maybe we can build a fire, sing a couple of songs!” – Carter Burke

“Aliens” How did James Cameron make a move this good in 1986? Like, seriously, it’s impossibly good. Sigourney Weaver is the perfect warrior woman when such a thing didn’t exist in film. The story makes sense. The space Marines are badass. Even Bill Paxton’s overacting is endearing. On the eve of “Alien: Covenant,” let’s bow at the altar of the greatest Installment of the Alien franchise.

Plot Summary: “Aliens After floating in space for 57 years, Lt. Ripley’s (Sigourney Weaver) shuttle is found by a deep space salvage team. Upon arriving at LV-426, the marines find only one survivor, a nine year old girl named Newt (Carrie Henn). But even these battle-hardened marines with all the latest weaponry are no match for the hundreds of aliens that have invaded the colony.

This is the first time Ive heard your show and I really enjoyed it. I really like your take on the Colonial Marines from the point of view of an actual Military man. I’ll definitely be finding you on iTunes.

I have a interesting trivia. The Real-time strategy game Starcraft uses some of Aliens quotes from the film. For example: the terran marine will say “How do I get out of this chickenshit outfit” a line Bill Paxton said in the movie. Also, the dropship pilot looks and talks just like the pilot from Aliens and issues a couple of sayings directly from the film: “Were in the pipe, 5 by 5,” and “Strap yourselves in boys, we’re in for some chops.”
