Weird Science Quote: “You know, there’s going to be sex, drugs, rock-n-roll… chips, dips, chains, whips… You know, your basic high school orgy type of thing” – Lisa

We fired up the old VCR again this week for the classic Weird Science: The tale of two horny friends Gary and Wyatt who are tired of being social outcasts and not getting any action. With Wyatt’s parents gone for the weekend, the two perverts try to create the world’s first real doll.

Using only Wyatt’s computer, random photos from their wish boards and a Barbie doll the duo gives birth to their “perfect woman” with the limitless powers of a genie. Hilarity ensures including group showers, new interracial friendships, random bikers, dated sports cars, and a magical sucking chimney. So let’s all kick back with a glass of scotch and remember the time when it was ok to use magic to get laid.

    Love that I’ve found this podcast. However “it doesn’t make sense….” ???? It’s about two girls who make a girl with a computer and a scanner…. That is all.

  2. T Dog says:

    Painful listening to that excitable guy desperately trying to make sense of the plot of this movie and how unrealistic it all is. In fact, nearly every review I’ve heard from these guys involves a large portion of it calling into question the likelihood of things being able to happen. It continually annoys the fuck out of me and I’m not even sure why I keep listening but I digress. THINGS IN MOVIES DONT HAVE TO MAKE SENSE. THEY ARE ESCAPSIM. HI, YOU ARE “MOVIE REVIEWERS”, DO YOU KNOW WHAT MOVIES ARE??!!

  3. The Rog says:

    @Gene,

    Coming from you, that’s high praise.

    – Rog

    P.S. – Big D’s given name is Richard. I’m Roger.

  4. Dick Ebert says:

    Gene, foreplay is always key… It gets me in the mood.

    Thanks for listening, and share with your friends if your down with that type of thing…

  5. Gene Hitchcock says:

    Just listened to this one (sorry for the prolonged foreplay). Not sure if Roger or Richard knows his ass from his elbow but, Dick, you were strong and hardcore. I forgot about this movie but loved your take. Here comes PE. #kleenex
